PRP Therapy

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is blood plasma with concentrated platelets, bioactive proteins, cytokines, and other growth factors that accelerate the healing process. The various growth factors in platelet-rich plasma send signals to the body to initiate growth and stem cell repair in the area of injury. PRP is a by-product of blood plasma. The plasma is made from the patient's own blood. That leaves no chance of an infection, rejection or any kind of allergy when the patient is re-injected with it.

About 4 weeks after the injections, improvement becomes obvious to patients. In addition to healing damaged tissue, PRP injections also improve skin elasticity and texture. For the very best results it is recommended 2 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart.

PRP Therapy helps with disorders such as:

  • Urinary Incontinence
  • Lichen Sclerosus
  • Vulvodynia
